  4. It has been brought to my attention that these applications are not working
  5. on machines running under anything less than ROs3.5. This is due to the
  6. sprites files being in 32 thousand colour mode.

  8. To fix that, I have included a directory in each application called
  9. "256colours". In this you will find the 256 colour versions of the sprite
  10. files. Just copy them into the main directory and the application will run
  11. with them rather than the nicer 32k coloured ones.

  13. I don't intend to write in anything else but 32k colours (if you'd forked out
  14. as much on a computer as I did for this RPC700, then you'd appreciate that if
  15. you've got it, you should use it! - the original argument for upgrading to
  16. RiscOS3.1!). However, I will include the 256colour directory in each
  17. application. It takes me less time this way then re-drawing each sprite (I
  18. plonk it through a !Creator by John Kortnik, then play with the files with
  19. !Paint).
